How Did You Come Up With the Name “Sweet Tea And Sandals”

Sweet Tea and Sandals was created out of a love for all things southern. Our name is a play on the classic southern beverage, sweet tea, and one of our favorite summer staples, sandals. We wanted a name that would capture the essence of what we are all about – fun, easy-going fashion inspired by the south. And we think Sweet Tea and Sandals does just that!

It’s Simple And Delicious! -What are Your Thoughts on Adding Fruit to Sweet Tea

Sweet tea is a Southern staple and there are few things more refreshing on a hot day than a cold glass of sweet tea. While traditionally sweet tea is simply made with sugar and tea, many people like to add fruit to their sweet tea for an extra burst of flavor. There are a few different ways that you can add fruit to your sweet tea.

One way is to simply steep some fruit in the hot water along with the tea bags or loose-leaf tea. This will infuse your sweet tea with the flavor of the fruit without making it too sweet. Some good fruits to try this with include lemon, orange, or even berries.

Another way to add fruit to your sweet tea is to make a simple syrup using sugar and water then add your favorite fresh or frozen fruits. This syrup can be added to the brewed tea along with some additional ice cubes for a delicious fruity treat. You can also use this method if you want to make a pitcher of sweet tea ahead of time and just keep it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it.

Simply add the desired amount of syrup when you’re ready to drink it! So whether you like your sweet tea plain or fancy, give adding fruit a try next time you’re in the mood for something refreshing!

My Personal Favorite is Strawberry Sweet Tea

Strawberry sweet tea is my personal favorite. I love the sweetness of the strawberries combined with the deliciousness of the tea. This drink is perfect for summertime or anytime you need a refreshing treat

Afternoon Coffee And Evening Tea

When it comes to enjoying a hot beverage in the afternoon, many people reach for coffee. However, there are also those who prefer tea. While both options offer benefits, there are some key differences between afternoon coffee and evening tea.

Here’s a look at what each drink has to offer: Coffee: -Contains caffeine, which can help to improve focus and energy levels A great choice if you need an afternoon pick-me-up -Can be enjoyed black or with milk/cream and sugar Tea: Contains less caffeine than coffee, making it a good option if you want to avoid an energy crash later on in the day

In her blog post, “Sweet Tea and Sandals”, Emily McFarlan Miller tells the story of how she came to love sweet tea and how it has become a staple in her life. She grew up in the south, where sweet tea is a tradition, but it wasn’t until she moved to New York City that she really developed a taste for it. Now, no matter what time of year it is, she always has a pitcher of sweet tea in her refrigerator.
